Ind. governor views tornado damage

GRIFFITH, Ind. Daniels met with town officials and residents at the city hall.

Residents are still cleaning up from the tornado that hit the area on August 4th. Dozens of homes and businesses were damaged.

"Anybody in the community, those affected homeowners and business owners we didn't get to see today, feel free to contact the department of homeland security, their department of insurance if there are problems we can help resolve to put things back," said Gov. Mitch Daniels, (R) Indiana.

Governor Daniels also applauded residents for helping their neighbors out immediately after the tornado hit.
