Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Hosts Annual Candlelight Vigil

(PRESS RELEASE) The Candlelight Vigil is an annual event hosted by the Chicago Police Department Memorial Foundation, which is a not-for- profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives of our fallen heroes. The Foundation provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago Police Officers who were killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.

Located on Chicago Park District grounds near Waldron Drive in the shadow of Soldier Field

This event is presented by: Philip J. Cline, Retired Superintendent, Chicago Police Department and Executive Director, The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, Art Hannus, President, The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, Timothy Mitchell, General Superintendent and CEO, Chicago Park District, Jody P. Weis, Superintendent, Chicago Police Department.
