The arsenal was discovered when officers, armed with a search warrant, raided a home near 66th and Hermitage. They arrested one man who they say is an alleged gang member.
Officers hope the seizure will curtail the gun violence in the neighborhood.

CHICAGO
Police seized 22 weapons in all. They included handguns, semi-automatic machine pistols and assault rifles. Officers also found hundreds of rounds of ammo.
