Lighter hair boosts confidence, study suggests

Lighter hair is said to boost confidence. It's believed to have worked for the most famous blonde, Marilyn Monroe.

Confidence makes women more likely to approach the boss and ask for a raise.

The study at Nottingham Trent University also found bottle blondes are more inclined to put their foot down with friends and relatives.

But brunettes like Susan Lucci may have more money, they are more likely to marry a millionaire, and they get paid higher wages themselves.

Two-hundred women took part in the study.
