Bank customers double charged

ABC 7 News has learned that some local Charter One Bank customers may have had their recent transactions posted twice. Charter One confirms they experienced an error that affected some transactions Tuesday and Wednesday.

The error resulted in some customers that use ATM and debit cards to have a double posting to their accounts.

Charter One officials said they are correcting the problem and will refund any fees associated with this inconvenience.
