CHICAGO --Crews with Chicago's sewer department spent the day picking up sandbags left over from last month's flooding in the Albany Park neighborhood. Residents in the area have been complaining that the sandbags were rotting and had filled the neighborhood with a foul odor.
Streets were flooded from four days of constant rain from Hurricane Ike. Water also seeped into hundreds of basements.
Federal authorities are still processing claims from flood victims.
