Fire breaks out at Chinatown restaurant

CHICAGO No one was hurt, but the thick smoke and fire caused quite a commotion in the neighborhood near 22nd Street and Wentworth.

The two-story building has offices on the second floor. It is believed that the fire started in Penang restaurant's kitchen and spread to the second floor.

"Fire trucks came, and we saw flames coming from the top of the roof there. More and more fire trucks [came. They blocked off the whole area," said witness Paul Weltlich.

People were inside the restaurant having lunch when the fire broke out. Everyone managed to get to safety.
