Alleged police torture victims gather

Attorney Flint Taylor was applauded Saturday at Rainbow Push's weekly meeting.

He appeared with some of the alleged victims.

"If it had not been for God, we could not have made it through everything that we've been through. Sometimes I get choked up, because of the fact that, like all of us behind me. It's rough," said Darrel Cannon, alleged torture victim.

"We must indict Burge's henchmen. We can't stop with Burge. Those men who are here today. Those men behind bars. All of them were tortured not only by John Burge, but by his henchmen," said Flint Taylor, attorney for alleged victims.

Taylor added that those he says were imprisoned because of police torture deserve reparations.
