That crash happened as traffic was stopped for a medical helicopter to take away a victim from another collision.
There was snow in that area Tuesday morning and authorities are blaming slick roads.
Accidents shut down Indiana Toll Road
BRISTOL, Ind. The worst of the wrecks happened at about 4:30 a.m. when a semi collided with a tanker about 20 miles east of South Bend, Ind.
The tanker caught fire and its driver is in critical condition.
