Businesses in the area are being asked to make sure their surveillance equipment is working and, in the event of a crime, to save tapes and photos for police to use in their investigation.
The offender is described as a white man, between 5' 7" and 5' 9" and is thought to be between 45 and 55 years old.
He may be wearing an oversized black hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.
The man seen in the photos is also a suspect in a bank robbery, according to police.
