Study: Today's teens may be too confident

A new study finds American high school students are far likelier than those in the 70's to believe they will make outstanding spouses, parents and workers. They are also more likely to claim they are A students with high IQs. That's even though other research shows that today's students do less homework than their 70's counterparts.

The findings in Psychological Science support the idea that the self esteem movement popular among today's parents and teachers may have gone too far.
