"As he was kind of walking away, the cab driver just started driving, not knowing his jacket was caught. He just was pulled to the ground really forcefully" said Lawrence Williamson. "He was definitely going into shock. I think the comfort of me being there, and my girlfriend, helping him, letting him know that the medical team was on the way, I think that was definitely helping him out."
Williamson and his girlfriend, Renee Tucknott, were visiting from Los Angeles. Williamson is training to be an emergency medical technician.
