CHICAGO --The Chicago Police Bomb and Arson Unit is investigating after a vehicle plowed into a strip mall and caught fire early Thursday. The stolen vehicle crashed into a strip mall containing a fast food restaurant and grocery store at 111 North Kedzie. The crash was followed by a suspicious fire.
The store owner called police. Firefighters had to help the man out of the building. But he was not injured.
A police source says the incident appears have been intentional. So far, no suspects are in custody.
