CHICAGO --A large fire broke out late Thursday night in the Bronzeville neighborhood in the 4300-block of South King Drive.According to investigators, the residents had a fire going in a fireplace that got out of control and spread. The flames also damaged the neighboring buildings.
A CTA warming bus was brought in for 20 people left homeless. The city's human services department and Red Cross are now working to find them a place to stay.
No one was seriously hurt.
