BURNING UP: ON TOUR WITH THE JONAS BROTHERS

Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Tour Book Gives Fans a Backstage Glimpse at the Pop Culture Phenomenon

In response to tremendous anticipation from retailers, Disney Book Group has announced a 1 million copy first printing for Burning Up: On Tour With the Jonas Brothers. The book is an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the chart-topping band which features never-before-seen photos along with commentary from the Jonas Brothers.

Burning Up: On Tour with the Jonas Brothers (Disney-Hyperion Books; $21.99; http://www.jonasbrothersbook.com) is a backstage pass to life with Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. It includes never-before-seen photos of the Jonas Brothers' Look Me In The Eyes tour. Readers will get a first hand view of their life behind-the-scenes and on stage performing for fans around the world.

The book also gives a glimpse of the downtime that the brothers have between gigs. In addition to pictures of the group laying down tracks at the recording studio for A Little Bit Longer, giving radio interviews, and sightseeing in London, there are snapshots of them bowling, racing Go-karts, and playing video games with the Bonus Jonas, younger brother Frankie.

The dynamic photography is accompanied by a candid narrative by the Jonas Brothers themselves, chronicling their life on the road and their experiences growing up in the music world. They discuss everything from the songwriting process to the importance of family to their favorite kind of ice cream.

The Jonas Brothers have experienced a meteoric rise into a pop culture phenomenon following their eponymous Hollywood Records debut. A multi-platinum selling act, Jonas Brothers also have two sold out headline tours, become Disney Channel TV stars, penned their first book, and are truly living their dream to their fullest.

The release of their latest blockbuster CD "A Little Bit Longer" was highlighted with a record attendance of over 20,000 people at Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series in Bryant Park, 3 sold out shows in New York's famed Madison Square Garden, and a near shut down of Times Square of fans flocking to the Virgin Mega Store to purchase the CD. "A Little Bit Longer" is one of the highest debuts of the year. Jonas Brothers created more history by having 3 albums in the top ten, with #1 "A Little Bit Longer", # 8 "Camp Rock" sound track and # 10 "Jonas Brothers."

Their 3-D concert movie is set to debut in theaters February 27, 2009 followed by their own television series "JONAS" to debut on Disney Channel in Spring of 2009. Jonas Brothers also make time to give back. Their Change for the Children Foundation supports programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed. They have also lent their talent to other artists, having co-written and co-produced several songs for Demi Lovato's # 2 debut album.
