An annual Christmas toy party for underprivileged kids in the northwest suburbs will go on as scheduled Sunday, but it may have to be without the toys. The annual George Watson Memorial Rotary Children's Christmas Party in Ingleside will only give out a fraction of its normal amount of about 1,000 gifts because of a change in distribution by Toys-for-Tots.
"We found out less than 24 hours ago," said Kim Kiser , event organizer. "So we need toys."
Anyone wishing to give money or toys to the party can drop them off at the Grant Township Building in the 26000-bock of West Molidor Road in Ingleside between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
