'Chicago Remembers Pearl Harbor'

Mayor Daley led the annual observance at Navy Pier. It's called 'Chicago Remembers Pearl Harbor.'

A memorial wreath was placed in the waters of Lake Michigan, accompanied by a 21 gun salute and the playing of 'Taps.'

The ceremony honored the seven men from Chicago who died in the surprise attack December 7, 1941.

Survivors of Pearl Harbor and their families took part in the somber service.

Chicago is one of the few cities in the country that still holds a Pearl Harbor memorial.
