Winter storm hits Chicago area

A winter storm is dumping snow on the Chicago area. A winter weather advisory is in effect for northern counties which could get up to 4 inches of snow tonight.

The snow is making driving difficult. The evening commute was a slow one.

Chicago's snow command sent out 184 snow fighting trucks, about half its fleet. The trucks are patrolling the city's main streets.

The snow is also affecting airline travelers. More than 75 flights have been cancelled at O'Hare airport.
