The Easiest Chocolate Crinkles You Will Ever Make

"I have been making these cookies for 30 years," she said. "When my kids were small they loved to make them and because there is no raw egg in them it always seemed that they ate more batter than we baked, but that was ok. Today they are still my 23 year old daughters favorite. They are just a fun quick cookie to make as a family!"

18oz Chocolate cake mix, (2 layer size) Dark Chocolate is the best
1 8 oz container Cool Whip, thawed
Powdered sugar for rolling

BY HAND mix together cake mix and cool whip. Note the mixture will be very thick and sticky. Chill dough for at least 1 hour (if you find the dough getting sticky return it to the refrigerator and only take out small portions to use.) Preheat oven to 350. Roll dough into balls about the size of a walnut and roll in the powdered sugar to coat. Place about 2 inches apart on parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Watch closely as you want these to be loose looking and they will burn quickly. Do not overbake. Cool slightly on the cookie sheets until they set up and then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
