The money supports the state's home modification program. It adds ramps, chair lifts and other features to the homes of low-income seniors and residents with disabilities.
Those who qualify can receive up to $25,000.
Since 2006, the program has awarded more than $5 million in grants, so people with disabilities can stay in their homes and live independently.
