Home sweet home for cardiac rehab

British researchers say home is as good as the hospital when it comes to cardiac rehab. They followed two groups of patients recovering from a heart attack or surgery to clear blocked heart arteries. One group was assigned to home-based rehab while the other group was in hospital-based rehab.

At the end of the year, the researchers found no clinically significant differences in blood pressure, cholesterol levels, mental health or exercise ability between the two groups.
