The couple went out Friday night to a lounge in Gary. They were celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary. The couple met up with some friends and headed home around 1 a.m. Police say Latavia Joshua called a co-worker asking for a wake-up call because she had to work Saturday morning. When the co-worker couldn't get through and family members didn't hear from them, the family filed a police report.
East Chicago Police have done land and air searches using the Lake County Sheriff's Office helicopter. Police say it's too early to tell whether there is any foul play involved. The couple was last seen driving a green Dodge Durango with Indiana plate IZ542.
