The peanut butter recall linked to the salmonella outbreak is growing. A suburban bakery, which sells its cookies to Wal-Mart, has issued its own recall. Downers Grove-based Ralcorp Frozen Bakery Products' cookie brands are made with peanut products supplied by the Blakely, Georgia-based Peanut Corporation of America.
The voluntary recall comes just one day after the U.S. government advised consumers to avoid eating foods containing peanut butter.
Federal officials suspect the corporation is the source of the outbreak.
More than 470 people have gotten sick, including four in Illinois.
