February 9, 2009 --It's easy to understand how a night of tossing and turning can make a person cranky the next day. But now comes word that poor sleep can affect the way a person perceives life for years. A few studies have focused on the relationship between life dissatisfaction and sleep quality. But this new report in the American Journal of Epidemiology looks at how the two are associated over time.
Those people who reported sleeping poorly over a six-year period were more than twice as likely to be unhappy.
