"Thank you. I know. I can't believe it's me either," said Brown while visiting Marines at the Palm Springs Air Museum.
For a moment, some believed he was the actual commander in chief. The appearance helped raise money for charity.
Brown has also had a small movie role and is booking TV appearances.
"I'm from Chicago. I had the training. I figured his voice was not too far off from mine. It was just going to be a little bit of practice. There were a few other guys out there attempting the impression. I thought I could do just as good, if not better. Started practicing. Put a video on Youtube. It got a lot of attention. That's how it all started," said Reggie Brown, Obama impersonator.
Brown is still working on his impersonation. A makeup artist has added a touch of gray to his hair and his advisors tell hi not to slouch so much when he speaks into microphone.
