The Salvation Army is feeding Chicago's hungry and homeless on wheels. On Wednesday, the agency parked its mobile feeding unit on the city's near West Side.

The Salvation Army travels throughout the city everyday feeding 14,000 people each month. Part of that is thanks to generous Chicagoans.

The agency reports its red kettle campaign reached 92 percent of its goal of $12 million this holiday season and they served 56 percent more people last year than in 2007.
