Museum honors Chicago's black 'stars'

February 21, 2009 They were recognized at the DuSable Museum's Night of 100 Stars, and among this year's honorees were ABC7 Chicago's own Harry Porterfield and Sec. of State Jesse White.

ABC7's Hosea Sanders and Roz Varon served as the master and mistress of ceremonies.

The annual gala pays tribute to African-Americans who have made outstanding contributions to society. Money raised Saturday will finance the DuSable Museum's educational programs and exhibits.
