Chicago area deals with flooding

Thursday night's downpour caused problems on Chicago area roadways from the city to the suburbs.Police had to close off Foster Avenue at Lake Shore Drive because of the flooding. A taxi got stuck in the underpass.

Flooding was a problem in the suburbs also. It was challenging to get around with the high waters in Wood dale. In suburban Villa Park, residents worked to clear clogged storm drains after several cars stalled in the high water. Traveling was difficult, especially at suburban viaducts that filled up with flash flood waters quickly.
