March 1, 2009 (CHICAGO) --Sunday, on the eve of Casimir Pulaski Day, a celebration of all things Polish took place at Navy Pier."Celebrate Poland" featured a medley of performances by Chicago's top Polish-American dancers, singers, and storytellers. Crowds were treated to six hours of free entertainment.
Monday marks Casimir Pulaski Day, which honors the memory of the Polish-American freedom fighter.
Chicago remains home to the largest Polish population of any city outside of Warsaw, Poland.
