Longtime Chicago disc jockey dies

March 3, 2009 (CHICAGO) He has been hosting radio programs for more than 40 years and was known by his fans as the 'king of the dusties.'

Most recently, Pegue hosted his signature show "the best music of your life" on WKKC. He also worked at WVON and WGCI.

A section of Ingleside between 73rd and 79th Streets was is called honorary Richard Pegue way.

Pegue died on Tuesday morning at Jackson Park Hospital at the age of 64.
