March 11, 2009 (HEBRON, Ind.) --Authorities worked to rescue a woman from a flooded rental truck after the driver attempted to cross a submerged intersection.The incident took place on South County Road at 250 West and 1000 South in Hebron, Ind. just south of the Kankakee River. The fields were all flooded but the driver thought she was able to cross the road. She did not make it and was stuck halfway between in a Penske rental truck.
The water was about foor feet deep.
A flat-bottom boat was used to rescue the driver, who was taken to a hospital.
