March 17, 2009 --
A man is charged with restraining a woman in a northwest suburban apartment and sexually assaulting her for three days. Police say the victim moved in with Marquis Bowers about two weeks ago. But when she tried to leave on March 9, Bowers refused.
A police report says he locked her in a bedroom and tied her with electrical tape before sexually assaulting her.
The victim escaped on March 12 and called police from a nearby gas station.
Bowers is charged with sexual assault, battery and unlawful restraint.
