The Charter One Bank at Dempster and McCormick was robbed around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say the bandit walked in wearing a hat and glasses and gave a note to the teller demanding money.
It is believed a bicycle was used for his get away.
Bank robber caught red-handed
March 17, 2009 (SKOKIE, Ill.) Authorities say they caught up with the suspected bandit a short distance from the Charter One Bank with red dye all over his hands and the exploded dye pack near by.
