March 19, 2009 (CHICAGO) --A new restaurant will be open at Wrigley Field this year. A sports bar run by the Harry Caray restaurant chain is being built next to the Harry Caray statue at Addison and Sheffield. It will replace the Friendly Confines Cafe.
The restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating and will be open to the public even to those who don't have tickets on game day.
The Cubs say they need to compete with the other restaurants and bars near the ballpark.
