Drywall brand investigated

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is investigating complaints of drywall that may be toxic.It is used in thousands of homes in the U.S.

Knauf brand drywall is manufactured in China.

Testing by one builder has found the drywall emits sulfur gases that corrode electrical and plumbing components.

A Florida family who has the drywall in their home says they have experienced coughs, nosebleeds and some metal fixtures have been covered in black soot.

Three class action lawsuits have been filed.

The Knauf company has denied that its drywall has a negative affect on health.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says it's taking the matter seriously and continues to investigate.
