A group of clergy, civic leaders and health care advocates gathered on Wednesday at Stroger Hospital. They say a repeal would destroy the county's health care system because there would have to be big cuts in funding.
Suburban Cook County lawmakers of both parties have been calling for the repeal. It passed a Democrat-controlled house committee last week.
