Sara Lee recalls hot dogs

March 27, 2009 The product may contain cheese, an undeclared milk allergen, posing a potential health risk to milk-allergic individuals. The product may also contain undeclared poultry and pork. This recall affects 1,728 pounds of product and is due to an error in packaging in which Ball Park Cheese Franks were packaged in Ball Park Beef Frank packaging.

The recall is only for Ball Park Beef Franks with the UPC CODE 5450010002 and USE BY May 07 09 P8740A printed on the back of the packaging.

No other Ball Park branded products are affected by this recall, Sara Lee says.

Consumers may return affected products to the store where it was purchased for a full refund. Consumers who may have questions or concerns should call the special Ball Park Beef Frank recall toll-free consumer line at 1.888.891.6100. The consumer line is available from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday.
