iTunes song prices going up

It will soon cost more to download music from iTunes. Apple is raising its prices by as much as 30 percent for most songs.

Starting April 7, it will cost $1.29 for some of the hottest singles. They currently cost 99 cents per download.

Releases from new artists will remain 99 cents, but tracks from popular acts would be priced at the higher rate.
