It's a face to face mortgage counseling facility for area families struggling with their payments to Chase, Washington mutual or EMC home loans.
"What we do when we talk to the borrowers aside from getting the basic financial situation we make an actual effort to understand what their situation is. we want to know for example if it seems like the medical expenses are kind of high or maybe there's a reason for that," said Sherry Blissett, Chase Homeownership.
Chase plans to open a second homeownership center on Chicago's South Side in the coming weeks.
