A $5,000 reward was offered on Wednesday night for help in finding the person who shot and killed a Chicago Public School student. On Wednesday night, Fr. Michael Pfleger and other community activists went door to door near 77th and Carpenter, asking residents to call police if they know who shot 15-year-old Marquell Blake.

Family members say Blake might have been shot during a robbery attempt on Wednesday afternoon.

"People know who shot this person and people know where he is right now turn him in, turn him in," said Fr. Michael Pfleger, Saint Sabina's Church.

Blake is the 32nd Chicago Public School student to be killed as a result of violence this school year.
