IOC tours 2012 venues in London

The International Olympic Committee is turning its attention to the site of the 2012 Summer Games. A team of inspectors is on a three-day tour of the main venues for the London games, including the Olympic stadium.The 80,000 seat facility is about one-third complete.

London officials say the $13.8 billion Olympics remain on budget despite the global economic crisis.

The IOC's Evaluation Commission is halfway through its tour of candidates for the 2016 Game after stops in Tokyo and in Chicago.
