Tough economy can stress out heart

April 24, 2009 Researchers reporting in the Journal of the American Medical Association say work stress is bad for the heart because it causes your body to be in a state of high arousal all the time. That can raise blood pressure, increase adrenaline and inflammation and narrowing of blood vessels.

Scientists say, so far, they have no solution but recommend exercising and relaxation techniques.
