Fruit Kebob

May 4, 2009 They are easy, nutritious, and a little exotic and special for Mother's Day.

1 banana
1 large ripe pear, cored
1 kiwi fruit, peeled
Half a fresh pineapple (or 1 can pineapple chunks)
5 - 10 large strawberries, husked
1 small ripe cantaloupe, formed into balls
1 apple (your favorite kind), cored

2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Cut fruit into pieces about 1" thick. Mix the pieces on kebab skewers.
Mix the oil, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush the kabobs with the
Mixture, front and back. Grill kabobs for 3 - 4 minutes on each side. (The blackened parts are caramelized sugars, and add to the great taste!)

Makes about 5 kabobs.
