Sunday crash kills 2 on West Side

May 3, 2009 It happened about 6 a.m. Sunday at Augusta and Kedzie in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The Cook County Medical Examiner has identified the victims as 22-year-old Gabriella Almaza and Nicole Mijares, 19.

Police had released few details on the crash as ofSunday evening, but they said preliminary information showed that one vehicle rolled and struck several objects. Video from the scene shows that one car left the road.
