May 13, 2009 --The online marketplace eBay is getting rid of some fees for casual sellers. Users will soon be able to auction up to five items every 30 days without paying fees eBay currently charges to list items on its Web site.
Listing fees run between 10 cents and $4 per item.
Users will still have to pay a fee for items that are sold on eBay.
The company wants to make it easier for people who occasionally sell on the site.
The fee change takes effect on June 16.
