Report: Single mothers making do with less

May 13, 2009 (CHICAGO) Research made public by the Eleanor Foundation finds those women are ethnically and racially diverse -and they work hard to be self-sufficient.

In the Chicago area, about half of working, single mothers live in the suburbs and only about five percent get public assistance. Read the Release

The Eleanor Foundation acts as an advocate on behalf of these women.
