Individual tickets for these performances, $25 for adults and $15 for children, are on-sale now and available at the Harris Theater box office located in Millennium Park at 205 E. Randolph Dr., by calling 312-334-7777 or by visiting www.harristheaterchicago.org.
For their engagement at the Harris, Grammy Award winners Dan Zanes and Friends will celebrate their two new albums, ¡Nueva York! (all songs on this album are sung in Spanish) and The Welcome Table: Songs of Inspiration, Mystery & Good Times. Joining the group at the Harris will be the Pilsen/Little Village Neighborhood Choir (part of the Chicago Children's Choir) and the Chicago-based Puerto Rican Bomba ensemble Grupo Yuba.
Dan Zanes is considered the father of kiddie rock music (he's known as the Bruce Springsteen of the diaper set) and his concerts have been called "Woodstock for kids." DZ and Friends performed at the Harris last year and it was so much fun -- within minutes of the performance beginning there was a kiddie mosh-pit assembled in front of the stage!
