They teamed up with 37 other local shelter and rescue organizations to bring the faces of Chicago's homeless animals to dozens of stores along Michigan Avenue and Oak Street.
This was the largest Angels With Tails event in its 12-year history.
Also Sunday, Paws of Tinley Park hosted the Paws in the Park Dog Walk.
Pets and their owners strolled around Centennial Park's lake and took part in games, enjoyed music and visited a variety of pet vendors. Proceeds benefitted the south suburban organization.
