New show from Cirque du Soleil founder coming to Chicago

One of the founders of Cirque du Soleil is bringing a new extravaganza to Chicago this summer.Cavalia is a multimedia show featuring more than 100 two- and four-legged artists. Horses, riders, acrobats, aerialists, dancers, and musicians will perform under a huge tent to be pitched Racine and Jackson. The stage is the width of a football field.

More than 2 million people have seen the secular show during its current world tour.

Cavalia opens on July 14.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday.
