Bo and Celebrities Hit the Links to Raise Funds for Bo Jackson's 1st Annual Give Me a Chance Foundation Golf Outing

Bo Jackson has invited athletes and celebrities to participate in his first charity golf outing. Antoine Walker, Danny Clark, Arthur Agee, Stedman Graham, Bob Love, Jim McMahon, Otis Wilson, Richard Dent, Napoleon Harris, Stephen Bardo, Tracy Butler, Ryan Baker, Billy Pierce, Todd Schultz, as well as other celebs and company executives will be playing golf to raise funds for Bo's new foundation, "Give Me a Chance Foundation". The golf outing will take place on Saturday, June 13th at Old Oak Country Club, Homer Glen, Il.

The event will be the first fundraiser for Bo Jackson's newly founded charity. The day will include golf, lunch, dinner, games, auctions, entertainment and mingling with Bo and his celebrity friends. Nike has generously agreed to participate and donate items for the day, along with other sponsors. Proceeds will directly support Give Me a Chance Foundation. The foundation's purpose is to make baseball the sport of choice among disadvantaged minority kids in the Chicago metropolitan area. For the past thirty years there has been a decline in the number of minority kids playing baseball. Bo wants baseball to become a passion for kids starting at an early age. He also knows that athletic mentoring combined with academic assistance can change kids' futures. Tutoring programs and basic school supplies will be one component of the foundation's work. Most exiting for the kids will be the opportunity to attend camps and clinics at the state-of the art Bo Jackson's Elite Sports indoor facility in Lockport.

Bo's 1st Annual Give Me a Chance Foundation Golf Outing is excited to raise funds for this worthy cause with a fun-filled day at Old Oak Country Club, 14200 South Parker Road, Homer Glen, Il 60491 on Saturday, June 13th Registration will begin at noon.
